According to analytical reports, organic coffee market capacity in the first half of 2016 reached 13.83 tons which is 8.9% more than in the same period last year.
70% of the cups are consumes in households, 25% – in cafes, 5% – in offices.
About half of the people buy a new pack of coffee once a month, 31% of consumers go to a store to buy coffee once in two-three weeks. 2% of the Ukrainians buy coffee once a week.
When choosing coffee people pay most attention to the taste qualities and price. Other important factors are manufacturing country and packaging. The final choice may depend on how attractive the package design is.
Most of the people buy coffee in supermarkets and stores. The western regions of the country are leading in the amount of the consumed coffee (delo.ua).
